Initially I was looking for a book to help a friend who was struggling because I realized I really didn't have much knowledge of God. I am so grateful that you mentioned this book and book club, because I will gain so much more from a led study than from just reading the book. The world conspires to pull us away from God, to make knowing Him and obeying His law seem irrelevant today, but the more I know about God, the more I realize how nothing of the world really matters in the long run and nothing can compare to a closer relationship with God. I am hoping to become a better example, a better steward and a better witness. At the very least, I am sure to have more awareness of the nature of God. Looking forward to next few months of Knowing God.
